China mainland is known as the world’s factory with many of the consumable goods around the globe being manufactured there. This has resulted in a very dangerous problem with pollutants from industrialization occupying the atmosphere, while the government had not addressed these problems until recently. During certain times of the year, the pollution from China even creates visible effects on the West Coast of the United States.
In addition to the current pollution problem, is the fact that the Olympics is coming to Beijing in 2008, the central government has vowed to address and correct major problems caused by the rapid industrialization of the economy, which is evidenced by the People’s Republic of China participating in the Kyoto Protocol. This participation means China has committed to reducing their emissions of carbon dioxide and other harmful gases, most of which are created as a result of inefficient energy usage.
The energy goals for China are to harness its natural resources through new technologies that will have a direct beneficial effect on its people and their environment. As the Chinese energy markets prepare to boom, the central government is advancing opportunities through the use of United States technologies and seeking out partners to bring proven and tested processes to the mainland. As China seeks out more effective solutions to their existing environmental concerns, Wolverine Power from the USA is providing proven technologies to alleviate problematic energy conditions relating to the production of Steam and Electricity.
